Georgia Newman
Brief Biography:
I asked a colleague to describe me in a few words, her response was ‘energetic, fun, outgoing and positive’. I think this describes me pretty well…along with a little bit nuts (if you’ve met me, I’m sure you’ll agree). I like to see the positive in every situation and I believe that happiness is the key to success and a life void of regret. A previous boss once said she had never managed someone ‘so unapologetically themselves before’ – this is the kind of confidence that I want to help my clients to achieve.
I am committed to helping others to find their happiness and I will do so through hopefully making them fall in love with one of my passions – health and mental wellbeing through exercise. I hope I can inspire people to be the best version of themselves. With so much pressure in today’s society from TV and social media to look or behave in a particular way, it’s important to remember that the only person you need to compete against, is YOU!
BE BETTER THAN YESTERDAY.

Why train with me?
Having studied Psychology at A-Level and Degree level, I have a good understanding of the impact that our mindset and mental health can have on our physical health. Just as our physical health can alter our mental wellbeing too. Therefore, I like to train clients as a whole being. It’s not just about the one hour training session, it’s about your life in its entirety. Thinking positively and training your mind as well as your body can change your perception of everyday life and the things you can achieve. It’s about working towards that ‘can-do’ attitude in all aspects of life.
You know what they say ; ‘abs are made in the kitchen’ – you can’t out train a bad diet. That’s why it’s important that we get your nutrition and exercise regime working hand in hand to achieve your fitness goals as effectively as possible.
Generally, there is a stigma around women lifting weights because they don’t want to look ‘manly’ or ‘bulk-up’. I am looking to break this stigma. Lifting weights doesn’t make you manly or bulky, in fact, it can build strong, sexy curves in all the right places.
Train with me if you want a fun, tough, no excuses approach to your training! Let’s get lifting!
Future Personal Developments:
There is always more to learn in the fitness industry and hundreds of ways to improve. Knowledge is power and the more I gain, the better. For myself and for my clients. I plan to do this through my own research and through learning from my peers. I also wish to complete more CPD courses to expand my knowledge in different areas I am interested in, such as pre and post-natal training. Mostly because it would have been great to be able to properly help my sister after she had her little boy – next time I’ll be ready!
I am due to embark on the Resistance Training Specialists (RTS) program in association with our close partners Integra. This will further my knowledge of biomechanics and proven training principles, enhancing and developing my knowledge of both.
Fitness is genuinely my passion, so developing my knowledge in this area will be fun and I’m excited for the career path I’ve chosen.
